  • A BENEVOLENCE OFFERING will be received at the exits today for those in need in our community.  Please help if you can.
  • OUR WEDNESDAY EVENING PROGRAMS AND SUPPER ARE SUSPENDED FOR THE SUMMER.  The Ignite Student Ministry and Praise Team rehearsals will continue.
  • SAVE THE DATE:   August 21st  Fellowship & Covered dish at the Keys at 6 p.m.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  
  • MISSIONS OPPORTUNITY: The WMU’s annual Baby Shower for CARE House & Pregnancy Care Center will be held on Tuesday, August 13th at 6:00 p.m. in the FLB.  All women and girls of the church are invited to attend.  We will begin with a covered dish meal.  Drinks and desserts will be provided.  A representative  for CARE House will be joining us to present a short talk on the services they provide.  CARE House is a part of the Baptist Children’s Home system.  The donations will be divided between the 2 programs.  A list of needed items is posted on the bulletin board in the Education Building.  Contact Linda Robinette if you have any questions.
  • MISSIONS RALLY:  Baptists on Mission will hold a regional missions rally on Monday, Aug. 12th at Elizabeth Baptist Church, 301 N. Post Rd. Shelby NC  28152.  Supper will be served at 5:50 p.m. and the program will be from 6:50 to 8:30 p.m.  There is no charge for the meal, but reservations must be made by Aug. 5th.  There will be worship, testimonies, videos, & information on mission opportunities.  This rally is for all men, women, & youth.  If you are interested in attending, contact Linda Robinette.
  • FAITHJAM:  FaithJam will resume Wednesday night activities on 9-4-19.  We will have a kickoff for the year on Saturday, 9-14-19.  Please watch our Facebook page for details!                      
  • DEAR CHURCH FAMILY:  We would like to express our appreciation for all of your visits, calls, cards, and gifts of food that were sent to us during the loss of my mom.  With VBS happening, it was a very busy week at the church so we knew that time was a precious commodity for each of you.  Thank you for your prayers, hugs, and expressions of support and love.  We all feel that we are lucky to be a part of such a loving family here at Mountain Grove.  With Our Heartfelt Thanks and Love:  Debbie & Charlie Rhodarmer and Steven & Leslie Rhodarmer, Joseph & Macie
  • STAFF MEETING:  There will be a staff meeting on Sunday, August 11th right after the worship service.
  • PLEASE NOTE:  If you or someone you know in the community needs help with lawn care, shrub trimming or small projects, please let the church office know.  Several members of the Catawba County Sheriff’s office are donating their time to reach out to the community and help those in need.
