Tom Tharp...

Tom Tharp comes to Mountain Grove Baptist Church from Rochester, New York where he attended St. John Fisher College.  Tom graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and English.  While at St. John Fisher College, he was the president of the Fisher Christian Fellowship and worked with the Oasis 5:11 Spiritual Life Resource Center as a peer minister.  It was at Fisher where he met his future wife Katie. They were married in August 2010.  Katie is currently a teacher at Blackburn Elementary School in Newton.  

In addition to his ministry at Mountain Grove, Tom is in the Master of Divinity program at the Gardner-Webb University School of Divinity.  Tom previously worked for the Summer Camp Casowasco as a counselor.  He enjoys working with youth, singing, acting, and the outdoors.
